Hi, My name is

Amanda Jayne

I work as an:

I am the creative director of Derby Academy Performing Arts and I have over 20 years of teaching experience.

 

I have foundation degrees in both Drama & English. I then went onto study my masters degree in Education, as well as completing a postgraduate diploma in acting & teaching. 

Background

I first gained my equity card as a child, acting in the theatre including west end in 1981 and my first television acting was in london in 1988. 

 

Having been a member of the LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) teaching association since 1995, I regularly train actors for their performance skills.
